A meno che uno come te non ci tenga molto, niente andrà meglio o sarà risolto…
Wolfram Syndrome (WFS1) is an uncommon neurodegenerative disease characterized by type 1 diabetes mellitus, diabetes insipidus, optic atrophy and neurological symptoms.
Despite the number of cases seems to be paltry, it is as a matter of fact exponetially increasing all over the world. The purpose of this website is to create a meeting point for everyone who shows these symptoms and wants to know whether he suffers from Wolfram Syndrome or not.
We will also be happy to post your personal experiences.
There is not yet a definitive treatment, but doctors like Fumihiko Urano are running pharmacological trials. Donations are always welcome, but it’s even more important for us to reach other people in the world: the more people look into it, the more we can study new cases, the simpler it is for us to find a treatment.
In this website you will find all you need to know about Wolfram Syndrome and on all the events that are to be organized. Do not be afraid of contacting us, we will be happy to answer all of your questions!
